Mark your calendars for MTA's very popular 2013 Summer Performing Arts Institute that will take place July 22 - August 2, 2013! This is no ordinary summer camp! Directors, Vocal Directors, Choreographers, and Casting Directors from all over the Valley will be teaching vocal technique, acting, musical theatre dance, improv, tap, and theater etiquette. Ages 10 and up will also be able to participate in master classes with audition technique, casting tips, comedic improv, and more!

Participants will rotate between the various classes and intructors in their specialities. The material will include selections from our sensational sixth season!

There will be three live performances showcasing what the participants have learned in the two week period on Friday, August 2nd at 6:00, 7:15, and 8:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for only $10 each (cash or check).

Introducing the MTA Minis!

Performers ages 3-5 now get to strut their stuff and learn and perform with MTA!

Classes will focus on various aspects of an MTA show: Vocal Technique (projection, annunciation, tone, blending as a group), Dance Skills (coordination, synchronization), Showmanship, Basic Theater Terminology, and Music Instruments. Skills will culminate in a performance for friends and family at the end of each session. Participants will be prepared to participate in full MTA shows when they come of age.

Session Five: MTA Minis Summer Session

Class Times are July 29th - August 1st (Monday-Thursday) from 2:00-3:30 P.M.

Evening Performance on Thursday, August 1st at at 5:00 P.M. (and TBD 6:00 P.M.)

Tickets for performances are just $5 each!

Audition Prep Workshops for Carrie is scheduled for Tuesday, July 23rd from 7:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The cost is only $35 and space is limited to 18 participants, separated by age range. Work with the Director of Carrie and get a leg up on your audition.
